Cyanide Fighter Strip

Now for my favorite part, the manned weapons for this game.

The Cyanide air superiority fighter was made before the new Mana got into making Para-mails. Sylvia Ikaruga Misurugi and Misty Rosenblum enforced the creation of manned weapons as a break away from using standard automated drones. Besides seeing it as another source of the old Mana's complacency, automated drones were losing its psychological effect and didn't have the potential to grow beyond their capabilities. Therefore, they made the Cyanide fighter as a practical piece of machinery that allowed pilots to adapt to any situation.

The engines were made to hover off the ground like VTOL aircraft while having a high acceleration, extreme maneuverability, and top speed matching supersonic aircraft. In terms of physical armament, there are its two guns for air and ground targets. But its main weapon its best weapon is from the seams on the top and bottom of the ship, firing angling beams of mana as a weapon.

There's a reason why rookie pilots call it a "suicide machine" as per the poison's name and usage. During the confrontation against dragons and Para-mails, the average kill-ratio was 3:1 at best, well against the Cyanide's favor. However, because of their practicality and high potential, more experienced pilots are believed to rival even the Ragna-mails and their pilots.
